Not just any show. We’re going all-out with a thrilling, action-packed display that will amaze your family. Clarkson Park is the ideal setting for our fireworks tribute to everything we love about Northfield.
Community Pig Roast
Hofherr Meat Co. will celebrate our Centennial with a whole hog pig roast, plus all the trimmings. Just a century ago, a big reason Winnetkans came to our town was to buy a butchered pig from our farmers.
Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players
A five-time Grammy-nominated band and Ravinia favorite, The New York Times says, “He has a remarkable ability to see through a child’s eyes…the Judy Blume of kiddie rock.” And People says, “On your feet fun, and laugh-out-loud funny.”
Dick Holliday and the Bamboo Gang
This immensely popular Chicago band from the mid-‘80s and ‘90s has its roots in Northfield, and they will reunite for a final, one-of-a-kind performance, playing epic dance party music with a blend of classic rock, funk and reggae.

“Kid’s Zone” activities include:

All activities are free, and kids of all ages can join the fun.

Visit the Northfield Bingo Grove, a shady spot in Clarkson Park where kids and adults can compete for prizes and fun. Relax with neighbors and friends, and celebrate a pastime popular with our founding Northfield families.
