Not just any show. We’re going all-out with a thrilling, action-packed display that will amaze your family. Clarkson Park is the ideal setting for our fireworks tribute to everything we love about Northfield.
Community Pig Roast
Hofherr Meat Co. will celebrate our Centennial with a whole hog pig roast, plus all the trimmings. Just a century ago, a big reason Winnetkans came to our town was to buy a butchered pig from our farmers.
Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players
A five-time Grammy-nominated band and Ravinia favorite, The New York Times says, “He has a remarkable ability to see through a child’s eyes…the Judy Blume of kiddie rock.” And People says, “On your feet fun, and laugh-out-loud funny.”
Dick Holliday and the Bamboo Gang
This immensely popular Chicago band from the mid-‘80s and ‘90s has its roots in Northfield, and they will reunite for a final, one-of-a-kind performance, playing epic dance party music with a blend of classic rock, funk and reggae.
For the Kids
“Kid’s Zone” activities include:
— Balloon artist — Face painting — Magic show — Bouncy house — Airbrush tattoos
All activities are free, and kids of all ages can join the fun.
Food and Drink
All the Northfield vendors you love will be on hand to serve up the summer snacks you crave. Whether it’s shaved ice, pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, chicken tenders, corn-on-a-stick or sausages, enjoy!
